Adventure Club

Adventure Club of GD Goenka University organized a fun trip to Manali, for students. The trip was an enriching experience for the students.
The trip was a four day long exposure to the scenic beauty of those hills, conducted with a well-scheduled itinerary. The Volvo bus left the campus at 5 pm in the evening for an overnight journey. The bus halted in Karnal for a delicious dinner and reached Manali next day in the morning. After an exotic breakfast at the hotel, they went for local sightseeing in a few famous temples of the place,like Tibetan Monastery, Vashisht Temple. Thereafter, the hotel had organized an entertaining bonfire session where they played various fun-filled games and grooved on music beats.
On the third day, the group went to Gulaba, which was the highlight of the trip. Trekking up to the hill to sneak peek and experience the snow, was just as amazing as the breath-taking view of those snowy peaks which was visible from almost all points of Manali. Later in the evening, everyone enjoyed in the hotel discotheque and had the lavish dinner served as a farewell party to all of them. However, the fourth day was also as eventful as the other days. In amidst the pleasant weather with the tiny droplets falling off the sky, the students were allowed to explore the area around. By the time, it was time for the group to leave; everyone had gathered loads of unforgettable memories. Moreover, since the final year students were nostalgic about it being the last trip, all those will never be able to forget all the joy and fun they had, in Manali, during these four days.
