Workshop on Towel Art Origami at School of Hospitality

Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.

The student-teachers of B.Ed.programme, School of Education, G D Goenka University planned, organized and conducted community service at Tau Devi Lal Old Age Home, Sector 4, Gurgaon. They interacted with the aged to understand the challenges they faced at their home, their daily routine at the old age home and forms of recreation. The student-teachers organized games and activities for the aged to make them happy and overcome their loneliness. They conducted a collection drive for clothes at SoEd and distributed them to the elderly at the old age home. It was a heart touching experience for the student-teachers as they saw tears of joy in the eyes of the elderly during the visit.
