Bhagwad Gita : Nurturing Life Skills from Roots 

School of Medical and Allied Sciences, GD Goenka University organized a Seminar on ‘Bhagwad Gita : Nurturing Life Skills from Roots ’ on August 29, 2022 by the International Society of Krishna consciousness (ISKON). Mr. Vikram Mishra ,Director, Strategic Sourcing and Operations, Asia at Mars Incorporated delivered a session on various teachings from the shlokas of Bhagwat Gita on how one can be a better version of himself by practicing simple teachings from Bhagwad Gita and nurture from roots. He motivated students and told about various skills we need to gain success in career and in life such as Value Integrity, collaborate, Be Proactive, Be Resilent and Growth Mindset.By the end of the session students and faculty of SoMAS interacted with the members of ISCKON and also in a small quiz session by the end of the session the ,winners were distributed books on life skills as awards.The students were really motivated and were looking forward to have more sessions in future.The management at SoMAS had an interaction with the members form ISCKON and agreed to proceed for an MOU to go ahead with such sessions as a part of the regular curriculum of the courses.
