School of Engineering & Sciences (SoES), GD Goenka University organized a Departmental Seminar Series on 28 July 2022. Ms. Vinita Makkar, a research scholar in Mathematics, under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Sharma, has delivered a talk on ‘A Mathematical Modelling of Magnetohydrodynamic Nanofluid Flow Induced by Three Dimensional Stretching Surface’.

In this webinar, she detailed about the non-Newtonian nanofluids in relation to magnetohydrodynamic flow and free stream velocity over three-dimensional stretching sheet. She discussed about parametric analysis involving velocity, temperature, concentration and also about continuity, momentum and energy which involved ordinary differential equations and Runge Kutta Fehlber procedure. She highlighted various applications in different domains of manufacturing, industry and medicine.

In this talk the scholar discussed about her approach of dealing with various mathematical tools to infer significant analysis about various physical parameters significant for nano fluid flow and specific three dimensional surface. The session was attended by scholars and faculty members. Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury, PhD Program Leader of the School moderated the session.
