“Expert Insight” on Sustainable Finance

On 6 th of November,2023 , Finance Club of School of Management Goenka University organised an “Expert Insight” session on Sustainable Finance .The ‘Expert’ was Ms. Ishita Khosla, a Senior Analyst at McKinsey and Company.
Ms. Ishita has worked on various consulting engagements on sustainability, ESG related finance and climate finance. In the session she gave an overview of ESG and sustainable finance.

She spoke about the various sustainable financing instruments and the global trends in the use of these instruments. Ms. Ishita also gave the highlights of India’s sustainable finance market and the various steps taken by the Government of India to further develop the market.

The session was extremely informative and was also made very engaging and interactive for the students with quizzes and activities. The career opportunities in the field of sustainable finance were also discussed by Ms. Ishita. Dean School of Management extended a token of appreciation to Ms. Ishita Khosla and commended this initiative by the Finance Club as it resonates with the University’s Vision to focus on sustainability and prepare socially responsible leaders.
