Faculty Development Program on Cyber Security

SoES organized an online Faculty development program on Cyber Security, in association with of Electronics and ICT academy, IIT Kanpur during 5th-10th July 2021.

The event started with welcome address by Dr Tabrez Ahmed, H’norbale VC, GDGU, Dr Usha Batra, Assc.Dean, SoES, and Dr. Karkare, Professor at Dept of Computer Science and Engg, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Co- chief investigator for EICT-IITK .

Resourse person, Mr Rahul Gupta, Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and EC Council Certified Security Analyst, IIT Kanpur. He is an expert in Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, Computer Hacking, Forensic Investigation, Linux Administration, Cloud Computing & MS Office. During the workshop he provided industry focused and industry-driven hands-on courses in electronics & ICT. E&ICT Academy strives to narrow the gap between the academic approach to electronics and ICT domains as currently provided by the educational institutions and the practically oriented approach as demanded by the industry. 640 faculty members across India registered and participated for the event.
