FDP- Nuturing Entrepreneurs In Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy, School of Medical & Allied Sciences, hosted a Faculty Development Program on Nurturing Entrepreneurs in Physiotherapy from July 12 to July 17, 2021, with convener Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, HOD, Dept of Physiotherapy, and co-conveners Dr. Anand Singh, Assistant Professor GDGU, and Dr. Tadepalli Bhavya, Assistant Professors GDGU, Dr. Asha Goel, Registrar of DCPTOT, and Dr. Rajni Malik, Registrar of Haryana State Council of Physiotherapy, jointly launched the event.

Many eminent national and international speakers graced the week-long program, beginning with Dr. Apurba Chakrabarty of the United Kingdom, Director of Rehab Associates Ltd, who gave the inaugural session on Enterprising in Rehabilitation- Starting a Private Company.

The next session was conducted by Mr. V Sridhar, Chief Manager and Head - SME Loan Factory (SMELF) Bank of Baroda, New Delhi Zone on Managing Finances. The session was by Dr. Shamed Katila Shrestha Executive Director, Orthoplast Rehab Center & General Secretary, Nepal Physiotherapy Association (NEPTA) who enlengthened the gathering on Raising Infrastructure

The fourth session was conducted by Dr. Dinesh, Chairman V2U healthcare, Singapore Director of Physio Asia Therapy Centre, Singapore Consultant with EMS Physio, this session was all about marketing and branding. The next session was by Dr.Joseph K Wells,CEO of SAI Group USA giving his insights on Human Resource management 

The last and final session was taken by Dr. Hemant Gaur, CEO - Partibha Ratan Bhumi Pvt Ltd, Founder - My Physio Clinic on the topic Revenue Generation model and marked the end of the program.

There were 35 enthusiastic participants from Pan India who were later sent out feedback forms and assessment forms on basis of which they were awarded certificates of participation.
