Prof. (Dr.) Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman AICTE inaugurated 5 day national workshop at GD Goenka University conducted by world renowned fuzzy expert Prof. Ashok Deshpande

School of Engineering, GD Goenka University in association with the National Institute of Technology, Delhi organized a five day national workshop on “Computing With Words Via Fuzzy Logic With Applications” from 6th-10th May 2019 at GD Goenka University. The workshop aimed at providing participants in-depth understanding of computing with words via fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic. The key point was to demonstrate the utility of these relatively new mathematical paradigms in physical sciences, life sciences, management sciences and other fields of applications. Prof. (Dr.) Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE was the guest of honor for the inaugural ceremony. During his talk Prof. Sahasrabudhe appreciated the world class infrastructure of GD Goenka University along with its initiation for such quality workshops.
Prof. Ashok Deshpande, Founding Chair, Berkley University, California was the resource person for this workshop. Prof. Deshpande has worked and learned fuzzy theory from father of Fuzzy Prof. LotifZadeh. During five days prof. Deshpande covered several key topics of Fuzzy along with case studies on realworld applications and solutions. Researchers and faculty members from institutions like NIT, Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Ansal University, JamiaHamdard University, ManavRachna International Institute, HMR Institute of Technology and Management, BharatiVidyapeeth College of Engineering, ATGITM and MGM College of Engineering & Technology participated in this workshop.
