GD Goenka University celebrated the ‘International Yoga Day’ with full zeal and fervour. The ancient practice of yoga is known to unite body, mind and soul, bringing eternal bliss. It keeps the body fit and rejuvenates the mind creating self-awareness. It saw a great response with a good number of participants engaging in the session. Dr. Suman Shokeen and Mrs. Nidhi Banerjee led the session giving insight into various beneficial Yogic Poses and the time proven-Surya Namaskar. Dr. Shokeen also shared her knowledge of alternative healing through Acupressure and various beneficial Yogic Mudras. Mr. Simanth Seth wrapped up the session by explaining the science of breathing-‘Pranayama’. It was truly a blissful experience for everybody.
