GD Goenka University has joined the ranks of elite universities in India. The University was accorded an overall ‘Gold’ rating and ‘Diamond’ rating in five of the seven key areas including ‘Teaching and Learning’, ‘Employability’, and ‘Facilities’ in the highly prestigious ‘QS I∙GAUGE College and University assessment’. The assessment was conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a globally reputed agency and the only agency approved by the ‘International Ranking Expert Group (IREG). GD Goenka University’s President, Professor Suku Bhaskaran, accepted the award from the Honourable Union Minister of Human Resources Development, Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and the Vice-President of QS, Mr Jason Newman at the ‘QS India Summit’ held in Goa from Sunday 20 October 2019 to Tuesday 22 October 2019. The award affirms that GD Goenka University is among the leading universities and colleges in India in regard to the quality of teaching and learning, the quality of facilities, and student placement.
