GD Goenka University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Essex University, England. Prof. Anthony Forster Vice-chancellor of University of Essex visited GD Goenka University on 3 January 2019 to sign the MOU along Ms Vanessa Potter, Director, Communications and International relations and Ms Sally Day, International Partnership officer, University of Essex.

Essex University was recently awarded University of the Year 2018 in the Times Higher Education Awards. The collaboration between two educational institutions will focus in the area of Research: supervisor training and development; Education; curriculum development; student exchanges and Training: academic and administrative staff exchanges; study tours etc.

President Prof (Dr.).Suku Bhaskaran, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Sanjeevi Shanthakumar, Registrar Dr. Nitesh Bansal, Deans of various schools and staff members of G D Goenka University were present during the event. Mr Anthony Forster also addressed the faculty members with an enriching speech on Internationalization of Higher education. With advancements in globalization and increase in standard of higher education this collaboration will be a great step forward for both the Universities and countries.
