How to Crack Personal Interviews

LOOKING AHEAD:  A SESSION FOR THE FUTURE

School of Medical and Allied Sciences, G D Goenka University had an incisive session on ‘How to Crack Personal Interviews’ on August 31, 2020 for their Final Year students. Mr. Sunil Dua, a Senior Regional Head at T.I.M.E. Group, who is an expert in Soft skills training was the speaker for the session. Mr. Dua traveled an entire circle of information, from fundamental basics to complex idiosyncrasies encapsulating a Personal Interview process with due clarity and articulate structures of thought. The session deliberated on various kinds of Interviews, the skills and effective mindset needed to chart your own way out of that. Further on, Mr. Dua stressed on need on proper Dressing etiquettes and the ‘winning edge’ attitude that one derives from proper appearance in an Interview. Students were told about what goes into the ‘Body Language’ and how it effects the Interviewing process. The need to recognize and acknowledge one’s Strength, Weakness, Future vision while giving a powerful and captivating Introduction during an Interview tempted a lot of questions from the students, as they constantly try to define and re-define themselves and their individuality. The well-informed and relatable tips of Mr. Dua about acing the Personal Interview round will come in handy in the very near future of our sprouting minds.
