MBA ORIENTATION DAY 2

The Orientation Program at the School of Management, GD Goenka University (GDGU), commenced with the auspicious Ganesh Stuti. This was followed by a warm welcome address by Assistant Dean, SOM, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Mehrotra, who provided an overview of the university and introduced the School of Management.In her address, Prof. Vandana Mehrotra acquainted the attendees with GD Goenka University's rich history, its commitment to academic excellence, and its state-of-the-art facilities. She highlighted the multidisciplinary approach that fosters holistic development among students.

She then introduced the School of Management, emphasizing its vision to become a global leader in management education, its mission to nurture innovative and socially responsible leaders, and its core values of integrity, diversity, and excellence. 

The orientation program continued with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Suneel Arora, he introduced the faculty members and coordinators, underscoring their expertise and dedication to shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.

Dr. Nusrat Khan, Program Head for MBA & PGD Programs, took the stage to present the program's objectives, course plan, and credit requirements. She elaborated on the Program's Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Program Outcomes (POs) to ensure a clear understanding of the curriculum's alignment with industry needs.

Dr. Swati and Dr. Anureet shared insights into the Mentor-Mentee program, where faculty mentors play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting students throughout their academic journey. The mentors, along with all faculty members, were introduced to the attendees.
