School of Law is organizing a National Symposium on Gender Equality: Issues and Challenges
on 21 April 2023 as a commitment towards SDG – 5 implementation.

To achieve gender justice and equality, it is essential to promote policies and practices that
address gender-based discrimination and provide equal opportunities for all individuals. This
may involve measures such as affirmative action, gender-sensitive education and training, and
support for women's economic empowerment. This National symposium will provide a platform
to bring together inquisitive legal luminaries, professionals, and students to share their views
on, the importance of Gender Equality and how it’s crucial to achieve Sustainable Development
Goals.
