The ongoing orientation program of SoMAS was its best on day 3. The day was resourceful engrossed with sessions that transpired vital information about program features and university norms.

Honble Vice chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Tabrez Ahmad sir chaired an enlightening session that was both motivated and confidence instilled. Sir was categorical to keep the session bilaterally engaging and make it comfortable for students asks questions which was keen to answer. Truly a not to miss event of the whole program!

If the first session was fulfilling in itself; the following was a striker. Our Registrar sir, Dr. D.S. Parihar, appropriately addressed the highly relevant quests of the students largely rules, provisions, student welfare and scholarship schemes etc. Registrar sir has a special knack of delivering simple and to the point discourses, and he was at his best in the sessions that was apparent from overwhelming response from the attending students.

Continuing the theme of the program in words and spirits our Controller of Examination Mr. Narender Sharma, carried an extensively informative Session on systems and procedures of university examination division. The session aimed to apprise the beginners for forthcoming evaluation activities in their respective programs and their importance. This highly pertinent session was among favorites for all attendees for obvious reasons.

The program came to curtains with an encounter with the most sought after activity of every university students. Students favourite our Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik, Dean of Student Welfare and International Relations, braced the students flowing energy with her encouraging interaction and gave a glimpse of regular student club that mainly comprises of extracurricular and personality grooming activities. The importance of pursuing talents and hobbies in students was underscored by no other than vibrant members of student council. University is set to identify, groom and build leadership skills in these future professionals who are surely an asset in Nation building.

The industry interface feature of the day was a crisp interaction with R G Barshikar, CEO QbD International.

Students were excited to look forward for coming editions of the ongoing program. The day full of events, interactions and information ended with excitement and wait for the next ones to come that are going to be equally interesting and important - may be more!
