On 10th August 2022, a panel discussion was organized by School of Management, GD Goenka
University for MBA students of Batch 2022-2024.

The panel discussion was on Post Covid19 Career opportunities, it was taken up by leading recruiters and alumni of School of Management.

There were seven panelists and the first speaker was Mr. Vijay Tapo Kar, HR Head - Bata India Ltd.
followed by second speaker Mr. Kallol Saha, Director HR - Crowne Plaza.

The next speaker in the discussion was Ms. Kshama Dhir, Global Lead - Strategy & Transformation, EY. The fourth speaker was Mr. Adi Chakravarty, Head - HR, Knowlarity followed by the next speaker Ms. Sakshi Dutt, Head - HR, Indigo Airlines. The sixth speaker in the discussion was Mr. Ashish Sahdev, Pharma & Diagnostic Industry Expert followed by the final speaker Ms. Priti Swarup, Manager - HR, NTPC.

All the industry experts discussed the blend of new recruitment trends and the traditional approach of hiring, the necessary skill sets like SAP, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics etc. Also they discussed the importance of social media and how LinkedIn Profile helps both recruiters and job seekers in achieving job fit.

They discussed the perspective of the recruiters and importance of Professional Individual Branding and its aspects. The session was successfully moderated and called out by Mr. Girish Ahuja ,Assistant Professor and Head for Undergraduate Programs at School of Management. All the students found the session very insightful and engaging.
