A Report of Career Guidance “Opportunities after B Tech” Organized by Mechanical Engineering Department School of Engineering, GD Goenka University Sohna, Gurgaon, on 26 August 2022 at 02:00 to 03.30PM

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is hosting on Career Guidance: Opportunities after B-Tech. Resource persons: Mr. Arjun Chhabra, Faculty Member at ACE, Motivational Speaker, ACE Engineering Education India Pvt Ltd. New Delhi.

The event started with an inaugural address by Dr. Anjali Vyas, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, GD Goenka University Sohna, Gurgaon. Dr. Anjali extended her warm welcome to the participants and Resource Person.

The expert from ACE started the session by introduction of GATE and PSU. He also gave an overview about the following:

● IAS/IES
● Government jobs
● Research jobs
● Master Program M tech/MBA/PhD etc.

The students were motivated to start preparing for the above competitive exams ahead of time, so that they can score well to enable them to get into reputed institutions, for a bright future.Mr Chhabra motivated the students to excel in their studies and career. The session was very interactive students were very attentive. He highlighted the importance of positive thinking and the attitude which brings optimism into life. He suggested many such constructive changes that can make one brighter and more successful. Students who attended this session got an idea about pursuing higher studies in Indian universities, and about Management studies.There was an interactive Question and Answer session, and the program came to an end with the proposing of
