Republic Day Celebration

"If I died in the service of the nation, I would be proud of it. Every drop of my blood… will contribute to the growth of this nation and to make it strong.”

Like every year, this year, also all the students and faculty members of School of Humainities ,Social Sciences and Education of GD Goenka University celebrated 74th republic day on 25, January 2023 with full zest and zeal.Faculty of Department of Education took the initiative to organize the event.The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting and national anthem followed by speech by Dr.Parvesh Lata, (HoD) Deapartment of Education in which she talked about the significance of the Republic day and motivated the students to serve the nation.

 This was followed by some speeches and poems on patriotism and national heroes,singing of  national song and other patriotic songs.A skit was presented on Rani Lakshmi Bai. Some of our friends presented a powerpoint presentation depicting development of India after independence.At last the program concluded with vote of thanks from our co-curricular incharge Dr.Sunita Sehrawat and distributing sweet to all the students.All the students enjoyed the day and were filled with feeling of patriotism.
