School of Education, G D Goenka University organized School Internship Program for its Integrated B A B Ed and B Sc B Ed Sem V Students from 22nd October, 2018. The School Internship Program is an essential part of the Teacher Training Program. The students visit schools to get hands-on experience about the working of the school. They learn about various aspects of school like the administration, sports facilities, special education facilities if any, functioning of the library and all other such aspects. They are expected to carry out a prescribed set of activities during this period.

They interact with the school principals, the subject teachers, class teachers and co-ordinators to understand how the curricular activities are planned and executed in school. The knowledge about the co-curricular activities is obtained from interviews with the librarians, sports teachers and the activity co-ordinators in the schools.

The present batch of students went to the Govt. Middle School, Dhunela and the GD Goenka World School, Sohna, Gurgaon. They got a wonderful opportunity to interact with students and teachers so as to understand the know-how of the art of teaching hands-on.
