School of Education participated enthusiastically in ‘National Unity Day’ Celebrations

To commemorate the 142nd birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man of India’ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, G D Goenka University observed Rashtriya Ekta Divas (National Unity Day) with a host of events on October 31, 2017. An embodiment of integrity & strength, Sardar Patel was both an architect of modern India. His contribution to unification of India was monumental. School of Education, G D Goenka University enthusiastically participated in the Inaugural Ceremony of the programme wherein the student-teachers and faculty also took the pledge administered by Prof. (Dr.) Shrihari, Vice Chancellor, G D Goenka University. Early in the morning, Senior Functionaries, Faculties, Staff and Students of the University joined the nation in ‘Run for Unity’. An enriching day it was for the student-teachers to re-affirm their determination and pledge for their pro-active contribution towards integration, unity, safety and security of our nation.
