School of Engineering, GD Goenka University organized Industrial Visit to Network Bulls

The Department of Electrical and Electronics, School of Engineering, GD Goenka University organized a one day Industrial visit to Network Bulls Technologies, Gurgaon on 02nd February, 2018 for Electronics and Communication Engineering students.

Dr. Manju Aggarwal and Ms. Akanksha Sharma, faculty members of DEEE accompanied 20 students from ECE to interact with the industry personnel and to understand the latest technologies and the current career scenarios in the industry.

Mr. Aditya, the technical trainer of Network Bulls facilitated the initial sessionintroducing us to the organizationand explaining core networking areas. He also expounded the technicalities involved in the various networks and the software’s used in the industry. This was followed by the visit to the network lab and the equipment room.

The students were shown the live switches and routers on which current day networking is done. Further, they were shown how the various network devices are controlled by using software. The students got an insight into live monitoring and controlling of network devices. It was the first hand, real time,practical industrial exposure for the students.

They not only benefited in terms of the technical details provided by Network Bullsbut also got, know- how of training policy and various career opportunities with them.They were given information on how they can groom andapply to Network Bulls and what could be expected out of the applicants.

The company officials appreciated our students for their enthusiasm and conduct.The students and faculty remained supportive towards each other throughout the focused technical visit which can be ascribed as a great learning experience.
