Welcome address was given by honourable Vice Chancellor, GD Goenka University, Prof. (Dr.)Tabrez Ahmad. Dean, School of Management, Prof. (Dr.) Alok Pandey introduced the conference themes and Area Chair, General Management, Dr. Karina Bhatia Kakkar gave an overview about the tracks. On day1, we were pleased to have the Chief Guest of the conference Dr. Charan Singh, CEO E-GROW Foundation and Former Non- Executive Chairman of Punjab & Sind Bank. He wonderfully explained the sustainable measures which are ingrained in the culture of India. Key Speaker in the Conference’s inaugural was Prof. (Dr.) Madan Mohan Pant, Professor & Founding Director of computing & Pro-Vice Chancellor, IGNOU. He explained about the traditional steps which Indians take for sustainable development. He also stressed on technology driven education to attain Millennium Development Goals and specifically SDG4. The conference comprised of four technical sessions on 20 June, 2022.The first technical session began with track titled Sustainable Finance, the second parallel track with track titled, Sustainable Technology and Management, the third and the fourth track with track titled as Sustainable Human Resource Management and Sustainable Marketing.

On day2, Prof. (Dr.) Kishore Morya explained about the sessions of the day . The first speaker of the day was Dr. Madhavi Venkatesan, Assistant Professor, Northeastern University, USA and Editor-in-Chief, Sustainability and Climate Change. She spoke on the topic,” Is Sustainability Consistent with Profit?”. Second Speaker of the morning Session was Dr. Ritika Mahajan, Assistant Professor, Malaviya National Institute of Technology. She spoke on the topic, “Sustainability Reporting”, The third speaker was Dr. Amitabh Deo Kodwani, Associate Professor, Indian Institute of Management, Indore “Role of HR in Sustainability” and fourth speaker was CA Harpreet Singh, President & Credit Head, Yes Bank, he spoke on the topic, “MSME Business-How to make it Long-term Sustainable?” Then two technical sessions took place, track five, with title “Sustainable Management” Practices and track 6, with title “Sustainable Planning and Development” held. Then in the afternoon session, Special Guest of Honour was Dr. Ashok Pandey, Member of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Director, Ahlcon Group of Schools; Chairperson, Council for GCED and Dr. Alice Wilby, Pro-Vice Chancellor, access Participation and Student experience, University College of Birmingham. Guest of Honour was Prof. (Dr.) Salma Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Management Research & Studies, Aligarh Muslim University. The day ended with announcement of Track Best Papers. The winners of track one were Prof. Ritu Sapra and Kusum Yadav, track two was Amardeep Singh, track three were Ajit Mohan Das and Dr. Sudhanshu Verma, track four were Parul Ahuja, Meenakshi Handa, and Swati Jain, track five was Dilip Kumar Gayen and track six were Chaitanya Chunduri and Abhishek Yellepeddy. The vote of thanks was given by Prof. (Dr.) Alok Pandey and Prof. (Dr.) Kishore Morya. Prof. (Dr.) Pandey congratulated the winners and announced prizes of overall best papers. Rs. 15,000 to the first prize winner, Rs.10,000 to the second prize winner and Rs. 5000 to the third prize winner will be given. Participants were engaged and learnt from the sessions.
