Mr Srivastava also outlined the status of the radio industry, and the challenges that it faces. The students also learnt about the emergence of online media, and the new opportunities that it was creating.

Mr Srivastava, who has worked for Walt Disney Television International (India), TV Today Network Limited, BBC World, MTV and Times TV also provided glimpses about the challenges that networks across the world are facing.
