School of Management, GD Goenka University organized a Panel Discussion on Higher Education & Internship Opportunities Abroad, to fuel the aspirations of the undergraduate students of Management and Commerce. The esteemed panelists included Mr. Vinu Warrier, Founder & Managing Partner, EduVelocity; Mr. Faiz Ahmad, Head-Relationships, TimesPro, A division of Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd; Dr. Mrs. Parul Malik, Head-Corporate Skills Development, NDIM and Ms. Megha Saxena, Admissions Counseling Expert, IDP. The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Alok Pandey, Dean, School of Management, with support from Dr. Sudipta Sen Gupta, Program Head-MBA & PGD Programs. Students received clarity on the issues uppermost in their minds regarding exploring Masters Program studies abroad. The sub-themes discussed during the event included : which Masters Programs are suitable for BBA/B.Com graduates, process of evaluating and selecting the right programs in the right institutions and the importance of skill development and relevant internships when preparing for foreign universities.
