SoES organized a talk on 'Group Discussion'.

The School of Engineering and Sciences organized a Group Discussion Event on 4th May, 2022 from 10:50 am -12:30 pm. The event was addressed by Mr. Amit Poddar, TIME. Total 60 Students attended this session.

The event started with welcoming Mr. Amit Poddar and his team by Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Sharma, Head School of Engineering and Sciences. Thereafter, Mr. Amit Poddar started his talk with the basics of group discussion. He focused upon the importance of group discussion, when and why you need public speaking, types of group discussions, what to avoid during group discussions, various performance parameters pertaining to group discussions, scoring in group discussions and finally the taboos for the same. He highlighted all these through his presentation.

After the detailed information on the above said topics Mr. Amit Poddar along with his team members conducted a ‘General Knowledge written quiz. Thereafter, Mr. Amit Poddar again interacted with the students and cleared their doubts. The detail discussion regarding the subject between Mr. Amit Poddar and the faculty members continued on the lunch table.Overall, it was very much informative and interactive event for the students.
