On the subject titled “The Union Budget 2023 and Inclusive Development” students of the school of Law had conducted a think tank session on February 10, 2023.


The session was conducted by a panel of students in their roles as moderator, presenter, discussants and rapporteurs. The subject was discussed at length with emphasis on inclusive and resilient policies, safeguarding the fundamental rights of global citizens, provisions for disadvantaged social groups, the rural and agriculture sector which employ about 55 percent of India’s workforce, but contributes only approximately 20 percent to India’s GDP. 

The session was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor and Dean School of Law, Prof. (Dr.) Tabrez Ahmed. In his address, he outlined the importance of think tank in law school understanding and conceptualizing the complexity of law and legal process in reference to economic policy, public policy, social policy, political strategy, culture and technology.
