A team of students from B.Sc. (Physics /Chemistry/ Mathematics) programmes was taken to Anveshana 2017 held at National Science Centre, New Delhi in the month of February.

They got an exposure to different types of working models based on the principles of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They were subdivided into smaller groups and asked to report brief details regarding the projects they chose to review. The students found it interesting to see models illustrating Smart Krishi E-monitoring System, Traffic Congestion Management, Smart Dustbin, Walking Aid Gears for Blind, Wireless Hexapod, Low Cost Water Pump, Desalitric Sewage Treatment, Electricity from Plants and the like. It was an experience for them to see the school kids mentored by fellow students presenting the work so well. They interacted with the students in the different stalls during the Exhibition. Dr. Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic and Applied Sciences of School of Engineering coordinated the visit and Dr. Mayurika Goel, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic and Applied Sciences of School of Engineering accompanied the team of students to the venue.
