Women’s Mental Health 29th August 2022, Monday

GD Goenka University organized a session on ‘Women’s Mental Health’ on 29 th Augustt, 2022. The session was lead by Ms. Shubham Thukral, Clinical Psychologist & Assistant Professor, School of Humanities, Social Science and Eductaion, GDGU. Ms Thukral started the session with an introduction
to the psychological centre for students and staff at GDGU. She explained that Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life. She discussed in detail that how mental well being is different in both the genders, and how women are impacted more than men. The students feedback was positive, they thoroughly enjoyed the session and some of the students suggested that such sessions should be planned more frequently. It was an interactive session. In the end, the audience was informed about
the Virtual workshop on data analytics by Ms. Mala Bharti.
