World Radiography Day, 2021

Department of Radiology, School of Medicine and Allied Sciences celebrated World Radiography Day on 9 Nov,2021. The event was organized by GD Goenka University in collaboration with Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt Ltd. This day was marked with presence of Mr Ajeet Kumar, territory manager of Wipro GE Healthcare, Mr Sunil Kumar, Radiation Safety Officer at Narendra Mohan Hospital and Dean SoMAS in addition to faculty members. This day started with Informative sessions on Contrast Media and Radiation Safety followed by an awareness session about Career prospects in Radiology. This event was organized to make people aware of radiological services that are not known and how radiology can help people to lead a healthy life and to also to celebrate the advancements in medical Imaging.A  Cultural event was organized in the afternoon where fun filled performances were given by talented students of Department of Radiology. Amazing dance performances were followed by shayari, comedy sessions and singing.
