COMING TOGETHER OF MORE ACTIVITES FOR ORIENTATION, 2020

School of Medical and Allied, GD Goenka University had more information-rich events for taking forward the process of orienting our students. The day started with the session on the Role of Mentors, as the Mentors will be their ‘Go-to person’ throughout. With articulate clarity, students were told about the various functionalities of Google Classroom and Exam.Net, our chosen digital platforms for Teaching-Learning practices. Further on, a Panel Discussion was held on ‘Career Opportunities’, the expert Panelists were: Mr. Kailash Malik Drug Inspector, Indian FDA, New Delhi, Dr. Varun Khurana, Unit Head: Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Medicine Unit, Max Healthcare, Gurgaon and Dr. Santosh Kumar, Manager Operations and Head, MolQ labs, Gurugram. All the wonderfully-brilliant experts guided the students towards right and responsible career-oriented directions. Our Panel Experts from different domains of Healthcare rendered bejeweled knowledge that our students made a note of for achieving their inspirational longings and passions!

A Webinar on ‘Rising Stakes of Allied Health Professionals in Modern Healthcare-A Paradigm Shift’ was held with the eminent and profusely learned Dr. J Maheshwari, Director Orthopaedics, Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi and Formerly, Additional Professor, Orthopaedics, AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Maheshwari’s mere digital presence ignited sheer enthusiasm and motivation in students. He discussed how Allied Healthcare is imperative in current scenario, and how Patient-oriented treatment and rehabilitation must be the paramount concerns of Physiotherapy Department. Dr. Maheshwari’s pearls of wisdom about the evolution and transformative shift in Physiotherapy domain rendered a wholesome perceptive about various future engagements as well. The day for the students ended with an Ice-Breaking Session, where all attempts at forming beautiful bonds achieved a joyful finality. Many amusingly-captivating games were played in the session to keep the blossoming educational, cordial bonds between the students intact and refreshed!
