Awareness Workshop on Social Engineering, Cyber Security & Data Privacy

Students from School of Education attended an Awareness Workshop on Social Workshop, Cyber security and Data Privacy on the 23rd of January, 2019. The workshop was organized by the School of law, G D Goenka University. The objective was to make the student-teachers aware of social engineering, cyber security and digital footprints. The resource person was Mr. Archie Jackson AVP Technology / Information Security at Genpact, Gurugram. Mr Jackson emphasized on the importance of cautious use of the social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others. The session was interactive and students were given prizes for answering correctly.

In today’s digital world, the internet has become indispensable. It has its uses but at the same time has to be used cautiously so that students make the most of it. Student-teachers enjoyed the session and got answers to many of their queries.
