A Boot camp on Cloud Low Code Development was organized by CSE & ECE departments of SOES on 4^th March 2022 in association with Alibaba, a leading company in Tech and Cloud domain. The objective of the event was to give a hands-on experience of web development on ALICMS – a web building tool to create websites. Students were provided access to ALICMS cloud platform for six months and a chance to participate in the Alibaba Cloud Low-Code Development Contest 2022. Organisers of the event- Dr. Jaspreet Singh and Ms. Ashu Gautam welcomed the speaker of the day: was Mr. Rahul Rajput from Indiaspark, Associate Partner of Alibaba. Dr. Naresh Sharma graced the occasion. Mr. Rahul demonstrated on the use of ALICMS for quick development of websites. He also apprised about Alibaba Low-Code Development Contest. Alibaba represented this contest for professionals and students in India, Singapore, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Alibaba offered a total of $15,000 in prizes and exclusive merchandise for this competition. Mr. Rahul demonstrated the ALICMS low-code website builder for developers and enterprises. Students were provided with the following on successful submission of qualified entry: responsive templates, SEO tools, 1 Free Domain, 1 Free SSL Certificate and 5G DDoS Protection.
