School of Management, GD Goenka University had an enthralling Guest lecture by Mr.Sushant Kumar, India Lead, University Relations and Campus Recruitment ,Tata Technologies on 1st September,2022.Mr.Sushant Kumar is a seasoned HR professional with over 10+ Years of experience across various organizations like Tata Technologies, WNS Global Services, GE, Siemens and HCL.

He holds a B.E. Degree with Electronics Engineering from MIT and PGDM in Analytics & Decision Science from TA Pai Manipal. Skilled in Data Science, Talent Acquisition, Machine Learning, Project Plans, and Campus Recruiting.


Currently he is heading the University Relation and Campus Recruitment for APAC Region in Tata
Technologies. Prior to Tata Technologies he was working with GE Healthcare handling hiring for
APAC region spanning 11 countries.


Received many accolades and awards from various HR Forums and Industry bodies. Received HR
Excellence Award from HR Connect in 2021. Emerging HR Leader Award by people excellence 2022
and Indian Achievers Award 2022. He has also been awarded as best Manager-TA leadership award.
Worked across multiple regions entailing India, ANZ, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Middle East.
Proven track records of setting up teams from scratch.


Worked for 2 years in Malaysia handling the hiring for APAC Regions like Australia, Singapore,
Malaysia, Philippines and Hong Kong.
He is associated with various universities and colleges in Advisory Board and Board of Studies. He is a Visiting faculty at Top B-schools like IBS Pune, IIM-Nagpur, IIM-Rohtak, IIT-K, TAPMI, NMIMS, Goa Institute of Management, and few others. Delivered more than 100+ Guest lectures and HR
Conclaves. Mentor and Advisor to few startups in Bangalore like Upgrad, edWisor Academy, Data-
trained and few others.
In his guest lecture he reiterated that “In order to stand out from the crowd, one needs to inhibit the qualities of leader. In current era, where everything is digital, each and every one of us should have hands on experience with the tech as well CRM tools such as salesforce. A person needs to be 50% intelligence and 50% life skill, only education won’t take you far enough, you have to have creativity and innovation inside you. Flexibility and adaptability increase your chance of cracking the interviews and scoring desired package in your dream company. At last, experience in way of
internships and certificates will remarkably help you to gain success.” Mr. Sushant Kumar shared his
extensive expertise working for Tata Technologies. His presentation on job opportunities for MBA grads in the technology industry was engaging and informative and included a Q&A session. 
School of Management got very valuable insights by Mr. Sushant Kumar on the importance of
technology in today's era and also shared about the prevailing job opportunities for management
graduates. Students look forward to more such sessions!
