Orientation Programme for New Batch 2017

The School of Management, G. D. Goenka University welcomed its new batch of students with six days orientation programme spanning from 28 August 2017 to 4 September 2017. The main objective of this programme was to lay the foundation for the new students and acclimatize them with the systems, structures and manners of School of Management, GDGU. The sessions included registration formalities, getting introduced to the faculty and courses. The students also got a chance to interact with industry experts. Mr. Raj Gupta, GM-HR, TCS was invited as industry guest to guide the students towards making career goals and importance of thinking big. School of Management has organised 3 days special bridge sessions for the new joinees to brush their basics in Accounting, Economics, English and Maths before they jump to the rigours of management education. These courses have been designed to aid the students in clearing their concepts and gain confidence before formal classes begin next week. The classes are interjected with loads of team building activities to familiarise themselves with each other and build a strong team.
