Students of Film & TV, School of Communication attended an interactive session on the \"The History of Lyrics in Hindi Cinema via the Song Synopsis Booklet\" from the legend himself Javed Akhtar. Famous poet,lyricist and screen writer shared his experiences about his journey in Bollywood and, shed some light on the joys and struggle of nurturing the poetic in an essentially non-poetic context, conflict and harmony prose along with the poetry face in the art of script writing for Indian cinema. He also discussed with the students the history of lyrics in Hindi cinema and its relevance in the education of Indian and Asian films and cultural studies.
