Report on Teachers’ Day Celebration

The School of Education, GD Goenka University organized special programme on Teachers’ Day.Students welcomed The Dean of School of Education, Prof. ( Dr.) Reva Raina and all faculty members with traditional method of tilak. The students planned and executed the programme which started with the Saraswati Vandana sung by the students. This was followed by a speech delivered by Raumika of B Sc B Ed (Sem III). Bhavika Kalika of BA B Ed (Sem III) mesmerized the audience with a beautiful dance performance. The new students of B Ed (Sem I) sung a group song which was appreciated by all.Surbhi from B Ed ( Sem I) spoke about the great impact of A P J Abdul Kalam and how his life is an inspiration for all of us.Bhavya Gaba of B A B Ed (Sem III) put up a wonderful presentation which depicted the various aspects of teaching. She showed her reverence for all the teachers beautifully. The students had organized a number of fun games for the teachers which were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. The dance performance by Megha from B Ed ( Sem III) was very graceful and greatly enjoyed by all. The programme ended with cake cutting ceremony after which snacks were distributed among all. The Dean and faculty members were overwhelmed by the efforts and love shown by the students.
