As a part of the numerous activities in Teacher Education Curriculum, the student-teachers of School of Education, GD Goenka University visited the National World Book Fair 2018 from January 6-14, 2018. Themed around \'Environment and Climate Change\', the 26thNew Delhi World Book Fair opened on Saturday with a call for increased awareness and efforts to protect the environment.



The New Delhi Book Fair was inaugurated by environmentalist Ms.SunitaNarain, European Union ambassador to India Mr.Tomasz Kozlowski and National Book Trust chairman Mr.Baldev Bhai Sharma.



Over 20 European Union (EU) countries participated with a delegation of publishers, editors and authors. The EU pavilion also showcased some of the latest publications in English and other European languages along with panel discussions, talks, photo exhibits and cultural performances. Apart from the EU nations, more than 40 countries including Canada, China, Egypt, Pakistan and United Kingdom participated in Delhi Book Fair 2018.
