Teachers Day

Teachers Day was celebrated on September 5 at G D Goenka University to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President, academic, philosopher, and Bharat Ratna recipient.

Pratiti Matolia and Aarushi Gautam, our day's hosts, gave a speech about the importance of GURU in a student's life, how the future of a country is in the hands of its children, and how teachers, as mentors, can mould students into future leaders who define India's destiny. They play a significant part in our lives by assisting us in achieving professional and business success.

Music Society, Dramatic Society & Dance Club of G D Goenka University performed live music & sang the songs with confidence and passion. The mellifluous songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience, presented plays on teachers. The concept and brilliant acting skills touched the heart and soul of teachers as well as the students present. They also performed dance, Students participated in modern, classical, folk, patriotic and Bollywood forms of dance.

Teachers also took part in the activities and bestowed blessings on the students.
