Webinar: Technological Trend driving Semiconductor Industry Mon Jul 12, 2021 2pm

School of Engineering and Sciences has successfully organised a Webinar on “Technological Trend driving Semiconductor Industry” on 12th July, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The guest speaker was Mr. Abhishek Gupta, CEO & Founder at Hex N Bit and the guest lecture was moderated by Ms Ashu Gautam, Faculty incharge: Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences, G D Goenka University. The basic motive of scheduling this guest lecture was the growing demand of the students/researchers to know about Technology Trend in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and its applicability in different fields. 56 Students benefited from this session through google meet.

The programme started with the welcome address by Ms. Ashu Gautam. Thereafter, Mr. Abhishek Gupta gave students a notion regarding product development in the field of Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning, Embedded System & Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) Big Data for various sectors such as defence, medical, automotive & transportation, customer electronics etc. He emphasized upon applicability of semiconductor devices and machine learning in detection of, automatic colorization of images, objects classification, detection in photographs and health care etc. Student’s attention were also drawn on utilization of IoT and machine learning with suitables examples. Mr. Abhishek Gupta also showed various videos and images in reference to the subject to make the lecture more interacting and interesting. Overall it was very good interactive session between Mr. Abhishek Gupta and the audience (teachers & students).
