Workshop on Paper Folding

Education is a ceaseless endeavor to make learning meaningful and joyful. Teachers play a pivotal role in engaging with learners in a constructive environment to act, explore, discover and create new knowledge and build on existing knowledge.Paper Folding and origami are useful as well as engaging techniques of hands on activity that embark both the teacher and students on a journey to create and re-create together.

To enhance the professional competencies of the prospective teachers and nurture the creativity within them, the School of Education (SoEd), G D Goenka University organized a “Workshop on Paper Folding” on April 24, 2017 for the student teachers of Integrated B.A. B.Ed. and Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. programmes. The resource person for the workshop, Mr. Joginder Singh, Associate Professor, School of Fashion and Design (SoFD), G D Goenka University made session extremely enriching and joyful as student teachers learnt preparation of various teaching aids using paper folding.
