A guest lecture on the topic "Prevention, identification and treatment of heart diseases" was delivered by a well-known cardiologist - Dr. Amit Bhushan Sharma, Associate Director, Paras Hospital on 27th Sep. 2018. He has pioneered the structural revolution in India with Transcatheter Aortic valve replacement (TAVR) along with his expertise in Complex Angioplasties through wrist, coronary as well periphery. The session by Dr. Sharma was full of wisdom and precise information. He disseminated knowledge on the management of cardiovascular diseases through life style modification including diet plan etc. Information gained through a short video tutorial on 'Loading Dose' could play a major role in saving life of patients with heart attack. He has also shared his clinical outcomes pertaining to interventional technology used for cardiac related ailments. The lecture received admiration from students and faculty members and they found session very informative, Interactive and interesting.
