Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.Karpaga Vinayagam at Orientation Programme of School of Law

School of Law, G D Goenka University organised the orientation programme for the new batches of under-graduate and post graduate courses on 30th and 31st August, 2018.

Hon\'ble Mr. Justice M.Karpaga Vinayagam (Former Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi) was the guest speaker for the orientation programme. HMJ Vinayagam was also the chairperson of Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, dealing with the subject relating to electricity and petroleum laws. Presently he is a practising advocate at Supreme Court of India. The students had an enriching session with him as he shared many experiences from his life. He motivated the students to make good use of the time they would spend at the law school. The students were very excited to meet him at the onset of their legal journey.

Prof. P. Lakshmi, Dean School of Law addressed the new batch of students explaining the importance of hard work and dedication to carve a meaningful career in their lives. Also, she referred to the social responsibility that comes with the noble legal profession.
