GD Goenka School of Design Organized Skill-Development Workshop for Rural Women from Sohna

Here is a sneak-peak into one of our on-ground initiatives! The Fashion Design department (SoFD) kicked-off a skill-development workshop for rural women from Sohna thanks to our design faculty Ms. Babita Sangwan. These 15 talented souls are part of Navjyoti Foundation, an NGO working towards women empowerment and community development for more than 25 years. The idea: To provide over 20 hours of training to help them become proficient in making corporate uniforms.
