The Department of CVT conducted a webinar on 10/6/2021. The title of the  webinar was’ Advancement in diagnosis of Covid 19 and Mucormycosis’. This webinar was moderated by Dr. Elina Dewanji Sen (MBBS,MS)- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR & HOD CVT Department, SOMAS, GDGU. The  speaker for the event was Dr. Harsh Mahajan (MBBS,MD),

Founder & Chief Radiologist – Mahajan Imaging Delhi NCR, a Padma Shri  awardee. He spoke in length about the methods of diagnosis of Covid 19 in  a very lucid and interesting fashion. He also spoke about the practical  aspects of various advanced modes of diagnosis. He also touched upon the  Mucormycosis –a very common complication of Covid19. He enlightened  the audience on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of the same. In the  end he diligently answered questions from the audience. He was very well  received by the audience. It was screened live on Facebook under GD  Goenka Up Learn Academy in association with GD Goenka University-Live  Webinars for Specialized learning during crisis and was well attended.
