School of Law, G D Goenka University organized an ‘Awareness Workshop on Social Engineering, Cyber Security, & Data Privacy\' on 23rd January 2019 . Mr. Archie Jackson, AVP Technology/Information Security at Genpact, Gurugram was the resource person. This event was supported by TedShark Labs which is a UK based technology research and consulting organization. The workshop was attended by faculties and students of various schools of the university.

The threats to the cyber world were the core area of discussion. The technology and information security aspect behind data breaches, cyber frauds and cyber-crimes was discussed in details. The speaker showed some interesting videos to the students to show the intensity of the crime across the globe. It was a very interactive session where students also got prizes for giving correct answers.
