As part of their academic programme, a group of Communication Design students worked with Rahagiri Gurgaon to promote non-motorised transport in the city using creative installations. Engaging the masses on the pleasant sunday morning of April 20, the students created a Mobile Photo Booth, “Peeku – Shaw” out of an old rickshaw (applying the principles of sustainability). The students also put up a photo exhibition of participants at Rahagiri to encourage the use of cycles amongst the citizens of Delhi NCR.
Another group of Communication Design Students volunteered to design and paint quirky Zebra Crossings in Gurgaon, creating the awareness on road safety and importance of Zebra Crossings for pedestrians.
