Bridging Academia and Industry: Comprehensive Faculty Development Program on Data Visualization"

The School of Engineering and Sciences at GD Goenka University has launched a Six-Day Faculty
Development Program (FDP) on "Data Visualization" in collaboration with Cloudthat Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Microsoft Solutions Partner. The program runs from 22nd to 27th July 2024. During this FDP, our esteemed faculty will receive comprehensive training on essential tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Advanced Excel.

Leading these sessions is Ms. Seema Mandlik, an expert from Cloudthat Technologies Pvt. Ltd., who
will provide in-depth, hands-on training on these powerful data visualization tools. This program is
specifically tailored for our Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) in Data Analytics and Bachelor
of Computer Applications (BCA) in Machine Learning programs.

The importance of these technologies in bridging the gap between academia and industry cannot be
overstated. By mastering PowerBI, Tableau, and Advanced Excel, our faculty can impart practical,
industry-relevant skills to our students. This ensures that our curriculum stays current with the latest industry standards and practices.
