Industrial Visit of GD Goenka School of Medical & Allied Sciences Students to MoLQ Laboratories, Gurgaon
An industrial visit was organized by G D Goenka University (Sohna Road, Gurgaon) for students of B. Pharmacy and B. Physiotherapy from School of Medical and Allied Sciences. Students visited MolQ Laboratories, Gurgaon on 12 Apr 2017.
The visit was aimed to abreast students on latest developments and techniques related to Biochemistry, which is a part of their professional curriculum. MolQ is a certified healthcare service provider and expert in delivering personalized medical care to patients. It also provides diagnostic, clinical as well as research related services in the field of Oncology, Genetics and Infectious Diseases.
During the visit, students were guided through various sections such as Serology, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, Cytopathology etc to name a few. Students were also shown how hematologic parameters of subjects are analyzed using latest sophisticated equipments. Students were also shown screening tests of biological samples for evaluation of presence of cancer and tuberculosis. Lab Manager Mr. Sujit Kumar detailed the students throughout the visit.
The visit added deep insight into the field of Biochemistry which is being taught in current semester. Students came back satisfied and motivated to learn experimental techniques in Biochemistry.
