Mastering Sales Acumen An event by School of Management

A sales event was organised by School of management, GD Goenka University on 16th August 2022 for the batch of MBA and BBA students. The objective was to involve the students to polish their sales acumen and take different products and choose a customer to pitch about the same. Students
participated in the role plays and worked on FAB Features, Advantages and Benefits technique to sell their products more effectively, customers got into the mode of acting as difficult, price sensitive to affluent categories of customers. In the end whether the customer bought the product or not was the final surprise and a peer rating on type of customer and selling skills of the sales person was taken from the entire batch. The event was a hit and looking at students overcoming sales objections was a delight! School of Management plans to organise many more such events in future.
