Republic Day Celebration
GD Goenka University celebrated with great gusto the 74th Republic Day of India on 26 January 2023. The atmosphere was rife with a spirit of patriotism as the National Flag of India was hoisted by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor GD Goenka University, Prof. (Dr.) Tabrez Ahmad, in the presence of Dean of Student Welfare & International Relations, Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Kaushik, dignitaries from the University, and student volunteers from the BSA and the NSS unit of GD Goenka University. The flag hoisting was followed by a speech by Dr. Ahmad, who shared words of wisdom regarding the significance of this day and the implementation of the Indian constitution that this day marks. The day saw melodious performances of patriotic songs by Saptak, the Music Club, and an energetic dance performance by Reverie, the Dance Club, of BSA Techno-Cultural. The day was a true celebration of Indian Nationalism.
